Vantage Roadster: the lowdown
Aston Martin today reveals the convertible version of the V8 Vantage coupe. Badged Roadster, the two-seat soft-top retains the knee trembling-looks and identical, stellar performance of the fixed head Vantage. That means 0-60mph blurs past in 4.9sec, with 175mph flat out, courtesy of the 380bhp V8 engine.
The Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG has to be one of the company's most exciting cars in decade or more. It comes stock with 563 hp, but some folks just can't leave well enough alone. Enter the Rado Twin-Turbo Mercedes SLS AMG, on a dyno, spitting hot fire like Dylan.
A helicopter crashed near the summit of Pike's Peak in Colorado on Friday while filming a test run of Audi's self-guided vehicle. Local media reports say the pilot is in critical condition and that the three passengers are stable. The crew was filming Audi's autonomous TTS as part of a project to ascend Pike's Peak, just west of Colorado Springs, Colo., in order to demonstrate the abilities of advanced driverless and GPS systems.
